MasterCard Platinum travel insurance
MasterCard Platinum will ensure you and your family members the travel insurance that will lead you during all business and individual travels and will help you to get all the needed help. The insurance also includes the unlimited coverage for medical treatment abroad or travel time accident coverage for higher risk leisure acctivities, mentioned bellow.
This insurance also covers:
- Slope skiing on trails;
- Climbing (e.g. mountaineering, rock and wall climbing);
- Sailing;
- Snorkeling and scuba diving;
- Phones and photo cameras in case of theft.
The validity:
The insurance is valid if the cardholder has valid Nordea MasterCard Platinum, when the travel started from Lithuania or the insured’s home country, and the travel has duration of maximum 90 days.

Important
- In case of an accident, Card owner shall cover the expenses by himself and after returning home, claim for the refund by contacting UAB "Trascom worldwide Vilnius" (Transcom)
- Transcom provides consultations and claim handling.
- Always retain physician's certificate, original receipts for goods, services, treatment and medication costs, reports, certificates or other confirmation of the event. Your expenses will be covered by insurance company after presenting the documentation proving the costs paid.
- Please send all the original documents along with filled in notification of travel loss to Transcom by mail under below mentioned address or deliver it to the nearest Nordea branch.

- Card holder shall contact Transcom only in case of interpretation of terms and conditions and claim handling.
- In case of serious illness or accident, in case of lack of funds to cover the expenses, Card holder should contact first emergency assistance company Travel Guard, which assists in difficult situations when help is needed, helps cover the expenses when there is a lack of funds, helps to bring insured home etc. Service is provided in English language.

- Travel Guard shall be contacted by Card holder only in case of emergency, for consultations which hospital to choose, in lack of funds, to cover the expenses, repatriation home and other similar questions.
- Unsatisfied Card holders can complain to the bank about:
- The quality of Transcom consultations;
- The quality of Transcom claim handling;
- The decision of insurance company after the claim handling.
- Card holder can present the complain:
- In written form to any branch where the customers are serviced
- Through the mail box in the Internet banking;
- Through the common info@nordea.lt e-mail.
