New limit will be valid at once without expiry date. In case desired daily usage limit exceeds 2 900 € or change is needed temporary please visit nearest Nordea branch.

How many times is it allowed to enter the wrong identification (PIN) code?

For performing transactions in an ATM, you have 3 attempts to enter in your card’s PIN. After a third wrong attempt your card will be blocked. If you want to unblock the card, you have to come to Nordea customer service branch with your ID.

Do you have to carry a personal identity document with you to use the card?

You only need to know the card PIN code to use an ATM. When paying for goods, if the value of goods or services exceeds a certain amount, the seller may ask you to show a personal identity document. It is done in order to protect funds of the cardholder.

What to do if you have lost your card?

Log in to the internet banking, and then choose Cards and Block Card. Choose the card you would like to block from the list. If you would like to order a new card instead of the lost one, please choose Card Replacement and fill out the application.

If you have no possibility to log in the internet banking, please immediately report the missing or stolen card as follows:

  • To Nordea bank at the number (+370 5) 2361 371 during business hours.
  • To First Data Lietuva UAB service at the following numbers 24 hours a day: (+370 5) 2151 177, (+370 5) 2331 199, or +370 698 21000.

The lost card will be cancelled immediately. You should visit the bank’s customer service branch within 10 days after the verbal notification of the card loss and fill out the required documents or submit the application to replace the card via the internet banking. The lost card will be replaced.

How to submit a claim regarding an inaccurate statement?

You can submit a written claim with settlement documents to Nordea bank customer service branch within 20 days from the day of preparation of account statement. Claim handling period depends on the place of operation, i.e. if it was in Lithuania or abroad.

The card is valid until the last day of the indicated month of the year indicated on the card. The card is renewed 2 weeks ahead of the end of its expiry date.

What is a CVC2 code?

It is a safety code protecting your card from possible cases of fraud. Usually CVC2 code is required in order to make payments via the internet using the card. MasterCard and Maestro CVC2 (card validation code) consists of the 3 last digits indicated on the back of your card in the signature area. In case merchant is participating in SecureCode program, customer has to confirm transaction by logging in Nordea internet bank.
